The strong get stronger. GRL Law is thrilled to officially announce the addition of attorney, Colin Murphy, to the team. Colin's expertise in applying metrology principles to evidentiary alcohol testing adds a vital piece to the GRL Law team as does his diverse experience in other areas of the law such as business, probate, and other areas of civil litigation.
Colin is back in action after taking a few years hiatus from the practice of law. For the last couple of years, Colin applied his skills to the financial industry, but the desire to practice law and help people during their greatest time of need, never left him. In Colin's words: "In taking my sabbatical, I got out my comfort zone and learned so much about myself. I rediscovered, too, that I’m at my absolute best when fighting for the rights of the accused and Iowans who have been harmed by others. It’s what I do and I'm happy to be back!"
Before taking a break from law, Colin was the go-to attorney in Northern Iowa for defense of operating while intoxicated, drug related charges, and those with other legal needs. Previously based out of Mason City, Colin and GRL Law worked closely together in the past and are excited to now be on the same team. As a member of GRL Law, Colin will continue to defend those charged with all crimes, especially operating while intoxicated and drug related offenses, but will also be heading up GRL Law's Business Law Division. Colin's experience within the financial industry makes him particularly well-suited to represent, advise and assist individuals in the areas of business formations, disputes, and other related legal issues that arise out of day-to-day business operations.
