Clive, Polk County, Iowa. Felony Assault charge amended to Disorderly Conduct following taking statements of the complaining witness and friends. The accusations arose out of an altercation at a bar. Questioning of the witnesses showed that both the complaining witness and her friends were intoxicated and harassing GRL Law's client. Ultimately, a physical confrontation broke out but due to inconsistent stories of witnesses, the prosecution could not establish that GRL Law's client committed an assault.
