Newton, Jasper County, Iowa. Driver's license spared, Carrying a Concealed Weapon charged dismissed, and Operating While Intoxicated charge amended to simple misdemeanor. Officer improperly told GRL Law's client that the breath testing at the station was only for license suspension purposes when the results or refusal are also used to prosecute someone for a criminal offense. Breath test refusal suppressed and thrown out of court and charges amended and resolved as a result.
