Mills County, Iowa. After reviewing GRL Law's motion to suppress evidence challenging a Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Enforcement officer's constitutional authority to randomly stop and inspect commercial vehicles, the prosecutor agreed to suppress GRL Law client's urine test refusal and dismiss the operating while intoxicated charge. The suppression of the test refusals allows GRL Law to reinstate client's full driving privileges, including his commercial privileges. Case was ultimately resolved with the operating while intoxicated charge being dismissed and client pleading guilty to a misdemeanor possession of prescription medications with the minimum fine being imposed.
