A Johnson County judge has ordered our client is no longer required to register as a sex offender after being on the registry for 10 years. At the time of his sentencing, Cleint was ordered to register for 10 years. In 2009, when the registry laws were modified, he was required to register for life based upon the code section in which he was convicted.
