Hardin County, Iowa- A Hardin County jury recently returned a not guilty verdict following a trial on an OWI charge. GRL attorney Matt Lindholm represented the Client and consistently argued that the evidence presented and relied upon by the State was evidence of anger and frustration not evidence of intoxication. One of the critical pieces of evidence presented were closeup video stills showing the Clients eyes which contradicted the officer’s testimony that his eyes were bloodshot and watery. Attorney Lindholm was also successful in saving the clients license as part of these proceedings as evidence concerning the Clients intoxication was also thrown out prior to the start of trial because one of the breath testing devices used on the Client had been calibrated with an expired solution.
