Cedar Falls, Black Hawk County, Iowa. OWI First Offense amended to a Simple Misdemeanor, Reckless Driving after motion to suppress evidence was granted. The arresting officer was shown to make two mistakes in the investigation. First, the officer forgot to advise GRL Law's client of the consequences to his commercial driving privileges. Second, the officer failed to explain client's right to an independent test to him after client inquired about a blood test. This all resulted in client keeping his driving privileges and avoiding a conviction for operating while intoxicated.
