Jim Sayre Joins GRL Law Team – Heads GRL’s Transactional Law Division (Probate, Real Estate and Business Law)

Jim Sayre

The GRL Law family has expanded.  We are happy to announce that attorney, Jim Sayre has joined the team and will be heading up the Transactional Law Division.  Transactional law includes the areas of probate, real estate and business law.  Stay tuned for future posts on what specific services these areas of law include.

Jim is a Drake Law School graduate (class of 2000) receiving his Business undergraduate degree from Marquette University (Class of 1996).  He is a life-long Des Moines area resident, graduating from Dowling in 1992.

Jim’s addition to the team brings over twenty years of experience in areas of law that GRL Law has not previously focused on.  His diverse areas of practice allow GRL Law to better serve a broader scope of Iowan’s legal needs. He has the experience, expertise and enthusiasm to help take GRL Law’s service in law to an even higher level.

The area of Probate includes Wills, Estate Planning, Trusts, Powers of Attorney (both medical and financial), Guardianships, Conservatorships and wrapping up of estates.  In Real Estate, Jim specializes in assisting homeowners selling property “for sale by owner,” which can save the seller thousands of dollars in commissions.

Fun fact about Jim.  Prior to this post, his picture did not exist in the cyber world.  We had to stalk him, corner him, and snap the picture for this post.  The absence of his picture on the internet world though is probably fitting for the area of law that he practices.  They say that the sign of a great transactional lawyer is that you never notice they are involved.  We might just have to give him the nickname “Incognito.”

Join us in welcoming Jim as a tremendous addition to team GRL Law.
