Boone, Boone County, Iowa. A UFC fighter and client of GLR Law was recently found not guilty of operating while intoxicated following a jury trial and his driver's license was saved. The client had refused to submit to a breath test at the station but that refusal was subsequently deemed inadmissible when the State stipulated that the officer had violated the client's right to place phone calls which allowed the client's driver's license to be saved. Nevertheless, the State still proceeded to trial despite the client having sustained significant injuries in a recent UFC fight. The jury found the client not guilty following a one day trial.
