Sometimes things aren't always as they appear and that was proven to be the case for a happy GRL Law client after his charges for OWI and carrying weapons were dismissed in exchange to a guilty plea to reckless driving. Despite the fact that the client blew over the legal limit (.084), when attorney Matt Lindholm was able to show the prosecuting attorney that the test result was actually under the legal limit when the margin of error was applied, the State agreed to amend the OWI charge to reckless driving. This also forced the State to dismiss the carrying weapons charge given the fact that the client had a permit to carry.
