Cedar Rapids, Linn County, Iowa. Operating While Intoxicated, First Offense and traffic ticket for Improper Use of Lane dismissed outright and driving privileges saved. Officer stopped GRL Law’s client claiming that he almost struck the officer as the officer was parked on the curb of a side street in Cedar Rapids. Video showed that the officer’s claim was inaccurate. Video from the station also proved that law enforcement failed to properly advise GRL Law’s client regarding his right to place phone calls. Iowa Department of Transportation rescinded the license revocation and all charges against GRL Law’s client were dismissed.
