Persistent, Relentless Defense Results in Outright Dismissal of Fraud Accusations

Iowa City, Johnson County, Iowa.  Fraudulent Practice in the First Degree and Theft in the First Degree charges dismissed outright.  Months of persistent, relentless, discovery and information gathering finally paid off when the prosecutor agreed to dismiss the accusations.  Initially GRL Law's client was accused of improperly receiving housing benefits but when all of the facts were uncovered and disclosed it was readily apparent that the case was nothing more than a misunderstanding where no crime was committed.  Not all prosecutors are willing to re-evaluate their cases after the defense provides evidence supporting innocence, but this particular prosecutor took the extra time and effort to objectively evaluate the facts of the case which resulted in the dismissal.
