Phone call to attorney helps client avoid OWI

Mitchell County – Client called his attorney and requested a private conversation.  The officer failed to advise him of his right to meet with his attorney in private at the jail.  This violation of his rights saved Client's driver's license and the OWI was amended to public intoxication.
