Request for Private Phone Call with Lawyer Denied, Test Result Excluded

Grundy Center, Grundy County, Iowa. Late night call to GRL Law lawyer results in police officer violating client's right when his request for private conversation with GRL Law lawyer was improperly denied. Judge ruled that the breath test result obtained after the violation could not be used against our client at trial. The Department of Transportation had previously given client his driving privileges back because of the violation. OWI charge ultimately amended to a simple misdemeanor with a small fine. Driver's license saved and OWI charge avoided.
