Storm Lake, Buena Vista County, Iowa. A total of three counts of Third Degree Sexual Abuse Assault completely dismissed with the costs of the prosecution being assessed against the State of Iowa. Defendant was initially accused of three separate acts of forced sexual assault. However, after depositions were taken of the complaining witness and the full story finally came out, it became clear that no sexual assault was committed and the defendant was innocent of those accusations. GRL Law filed a motion to dismiss the charges based upon the complaining witnesses' sworn testimony and the prosecution finally agreed to dismiss the charges prior to hearing. Defendant plead guilty to one unrelated simple misdemeanor offense with no additional jail time being imposed.
