State v. Metcalf – Defendant was charged with a Class B Felony, Boating While Intoxicated Resulting in Death and Four Counts of a Class D Felony, Voluntary Manslaughter. The charges arose out of a quadruple fatality boating accident that occurred on the Mississippi near Burlington, Iowa. All charges were dismissed by the State following the completion of discovery without the need for a jury trial.
