One Million Reasons to Settle
Polk County, Iowa. Recently the court approved a settlement agreement reached between a GRL client and the State of Iowa stemming from a sexual discrimination and retaliation suit filed by the client against the Iowa Department of Human Resources. The settlement was negotiated in part by Attorney Matt Lindholm and was just shy of $1,000,000. This case had a plethora of disturbing facts in which the client was exposed to repeated sexual harassment by the client’s immediate supervisor.
