Wright County OWI First Offense Victory

Wright County Iowa.  Client was charged with operating while intoxicated first offense and a review of the video showed that she had not been given an adequate opportunity to speak with one of her family members who also happened to be a member of the Iowa State Patrol.  As a result, a motion to suppress was filed challenging the admissibility of the breath test and the court ultimately agreed and threw the breath test result out.  The State ultimately amended the charge to reckless driving and the DOT was forced to return her driver's license.
