GRL Law Helped Grace and Her Family Seek Justice After a Tragic Accident

In the close-knit community of Lamoni, Iowa, where everyone knows each other, a tragic accident occurred, leaving David’s daughter, Grace, with severe injuries. Unfortunately, the accident happened when a local boy ran a stop sign, which resulted in a collision that left Grace’s car mangled in a field and the boy’s truck wrapped around a telephone pole. Tragically, the boy did not survive the accident.

Initially, doctors misdiagnosed Grace’s severe back pain as arthritis. However, it was only after a more thorough examination that her herniated discs were finally discovered, which, in turn, necessitated multiple surgeries. During this challenging time, Grace endured not only ongoing pain but also significant mental distress, as she went through several rounds of ineffective cortisone shots before ultimately receiving the surgery she desperately needed. Although she will never be 100% again, Grace has nonetheless demonstrated remarkable resilience and is now living a fulfilling life as a guidance counselor with a Master’s degree.
