OWI Charge Amended to Public Intoxication

Des Moines County Iowa-  State of Iowa agreed to reduce an OWI charge to public intoxication after attorney Matt Lindholm filed a motion to suppress the client's breath test refusal on due process grounds.  After reviewing the motion and the facts of the case, the State agreed to amend the charge from OWI to public intoxication thereby saving the client for an OWI conviction.
