Dallas County Iowa. Client was charged with bribery and OWI when he offered to pay the officer to simply take him home instead of to jail. Following a review of the video and depositions, it was clear the officer's decision to charge the client with bribery was a vindictive response to his request to place telephone calls thereby resulting in an agreement to reduce both the OWI and bribery charge. A great result given that the client's firearms rights would have been lost if convicted of the felony and when you are an avid hunter that is a bad thing.
