OWI Amended and License Saved

Boone, Boone County, Iowa.  Cleint hired GRL Law to help defend him on the charge of operating while intoxicated.  While reviewing the case, it was determined that the client's right to place a telephone call under Iowa Code Section 804.20 had been violated. The motion to suppress was sustained by the trial court and the State of Iowa agreed to amend the charge from OWI to reckless driving and public intoxication thus saving the client's driver's license from being suspended.
