Ames, Story County, Iowa. Out of state resident hired GRL Law to represent her for an OWI first offense charge. The County Attorney was unwilling to offer a plea so the case proceeded to trial and was dismissed by the Judge following a motion for directed verdict because the State was unable to provide sufficient evidence for the case to go to the jury. The client's non-resident driver's license was also spared as a result of the dismissal.
